Scrunchy Millers' CBD outpost brings the same brilliant ice cream to the city — and somehow manages to be the cuter of the two stores. A retro, lolly-shop-meets-soda-fountain vibe sits perfectly with what's on offer: instantly recognisable Kiwi flavours like Toffee Pops, Pineapple Lumps and Mallow Puff, Kiwi classic biscuits and lollies turned into ice cream, alongside their exclusive Biscoff (the bestseller), Gold-medal-winning Dark Chocolate gelato, and a rotating menu of 24 daily flavours. A Covid-pivot success story (Mike and Hayley opened the original Milford shop after Mike's career as a flight attendant ended in 2020), now with a CBD home for the lunchtime and post-dinner sweet-treat crowd
What to expect
Real fruit ice cream, gelato and sorbetto made with proper care, plus banana splits, affogatos, brownies and custom ice cream cakes built to order. Gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan options across the menu, with Eight Thirty Coffee and Nice Blocks (Tommy & James' ethically sourced ice blocks) also stocked. Take-away pints are the move if you want something for later — mix your own flavours from the daily selection. The CBD store has its own retro charm that the Milford original doesn't quite match — worth a stop in even if you've been to the other one. Available on Uber Eats too.
