Inflatable World | Albany
Why go
Inflatable World is a proper run-around for kids and a genuinely different day out from the trampoline parks — a big inflatables floor plus a separate play zone and gaming area, with ten-pin bowling upstairs if you want to stretch it into a bigger outing. The honest verdict from our visit: this is a place best with more than one kid. Solo children seem to get more out of a trampoline park, where it's easier to peel off and do your own thing — here, it comes alive with a friend or two.
What to expect
Two distinct sections: the inflatables floor, and a separate kids' play area built above the gaming zone, which went down well. The gaming area itself is your classic arcade setup — air hockey is a good addition, though fair warning: the skill testers exert a powerful hold on some children. Games run on a preloaded card, or there's a 30-minute all-you-can-play option — our pick, since it puts a natural time limit on things — though note it excludes the skill testers, which stay pay-per-go. Ten-pin bowling upstairs costs extra but looks good fun. All up there's a lot to do under one roof.
