Coco Lane | High Street
Why go
Coco Lane cookies are the thick, loaded, properly gooey kind — best eaten about ninety seconds after they hand one to you. The brand started in David and Matilda's home kitchen in 2023, built a following at Auckland's farmers' and night markets, and has since landed two central Auckland shops. The High Street store sits in a beautiful heritage shopfront, and there's a steady stream of people through the door for a box or a single cookie to eat on the walk down the street.
What to expect
Loaded flavours like triple choc, red velvet, Biscoff and Oreo, plus a blondie that has something of a cult following. You can buy singles over the counter or take away the boxed sets (the four and six packs, and the frankly ridiculous 1kg Kilo Cookie if you're feeding a crowd). They also do matcha.
